Francis Lockee, early West Australian Colony Attorney & later bank manager. The original November 1832 vellum (mammal skin prepared for writing or printing) Court document certifying him as "Attorney of his Majesty's Court of Kings Bench at Westminster", signed complete with £25 silver & embossed revenue stamp with Cypher stamp at back & an 11th March 1833 Court of Review document qualifying him as an Attorney & solicitor in the Court of Bankruptcy. A sepia photo taken by Hemus Hall in William Street, Perth accompanies these. Died 22nd Nov 1893. A lovely insight into this West Australian founding father. (3 items)
