Netherlands Indies 1945 defins to 2½g on 4 very large (1 unaddressed) envelopes & 3 large sheets. All tied by rectangular boxed MALINO/CONFERENTIE/1946 handstamps in black. Envelopes are inscribed WAR DEPARTMENT OFFICIAL BUSINESS at top left with "PENALTY FOR PRIVATE USE TO AVOID/PAYMENT OF POSTAGE, $300" at top right. Obviously philatelic but of historical interest too. (7)
