1840 (3rd Aug) Entire from England addressed to Walter Padbury, York, Swan River, West Aust. London Ship Letter 4 Au 1840 oval & G PAID cachets. Cirencester Au 3 1840 cds on reverse. Interesting in that it discusses the purchase of 1050 acres on the Swan River. (imagine the price of that today!) One of the earliest known inward items to WA prior to 1843 datestamps. Some light soiling to be expected. A lovely item.
