Great Britain QV on leaves from 1840 1d black used by red MC cancel with 4 margins plus 1d intense black with black MC & 1½ margins. SG 7-12 1d red imperfs selected for quality of MC strikes x 118 in mixed cond, SG 8-12 blued paper barred numeral range (124), 2d SG 13-15 (7), SG 19-20a (3), SG 23/a (5), SG 34 (4), SG 35 (8), SG 36a, SG 45 (16), SG 46-47 (19) & 1864/79 x 150 in plate number order to 224 with place names identified from numeral strikes plus 1870 ½d x 19 incl plate 9 & pair of plate 14. Later in cat. order with better incl 1847 6d mauve embossed cut square & 1881 1d range of identified duplexes (100's) before a good coverage of surface printed from 1856 incl 1867/83 5/- pl.2 (2, faults). Also 1883 2/6d & 5/- with 4 of each & 10/- plus odd mint incl 1873/80 6d grey "spray of rose" wmk plate 15 (Cat. £500) & 6d dark grey plate 17 (Cat. £950). Finally, 1880 1d Venetian red cancels x 76 with others comprehensive to 1/- used in mixed cond to 1892 plus odd Officials. Well laid out with place names identified for most numeral strikes.
