Great Britain Queen Victoria selection with used (odd low value mint) in black quality Lighthouse stockbook. Incls 1840 1d black 4 margins (tiny tear at top), 1867/70 9d on duplex piece (Cat. £325), 1855/57 6d lilac in 2 shades, 1862/64 4d (2) & 1873/80 8d (Cat. £350) plus a few others to 1/- in mainly above average cond. Noted 3d & 6d surcharges plus heavy used 2/6d & 5/- & 3 revenues with 2/- Customs, 1/- Contract note & 5/- Consular Service. Also 1870 ½d set of plate numbers 1-20 (excl 9), 1d red plates with most to 170 but then sparse. A good lot worthy of close inspection. (c180)
