WWI Lord Kitchener collection of 188 postcards featuring his portrait, his ancestral home & boarding HMS Hampshire with woven silk cards, cartoon multicoloured, "In Memoriam", etc. An amazing assembly from different card makers incl some French in b&w & in colour. Nearly all are unused with some stained backs & odd corner crack but overall a fine & desirable lot. Almost impossible to reassemble such a group. Conservative reserve when opening at just over $4 per card. (188)
