State 1 Die Proof of the completed design with a solid field behind the King's head & clean surrounds in bright red on highly glazed thin card (94 x 125mm) endorsed at top "received 12/2/14" & "First State" at base. "Perkins Bacon & Co Ltd PROOF 14 Southwark Bridge Road London, S.E." cachet on reverse. Ex Perkins Bacon archives with only three existing in this format exist.
