Gibraltar 1993 WWII original artwork for the HMAS Sydney submitted for one of the Gibraltar 24p warship designs. It shows the battleship in front of the Rock of Gibraltar in choppy seas. Watercolour on cartridge paper measuring 235mm x 140mm & mounted on card. Rejected in the final round by the PO committee. Originally sold at Heinrich Kohler Auctions. A lovely thematic item for the "HMAS Sydney" historian.
