USA 1926 (2nd Dec) New York to Washington via Philadelphia-Washington flown by Sir Alan J Cobham & his wife Lady Gladys on a US Congress demonstration flight. Four covers each initialled "AJC" on the front, the first 2 from New York & singles from Milburn NJ & Philadelphia. All with "Cobham First United States Overland Flight DH "Moth" Airplane" cachets, the latter with "Cobham Peri-Colombia Demonstration Flight Bolling Field Washington DC" cachet.
