1962 5/- Patrol in bottom marginal block of 10 with sheet number in red. This was the first Australian printed multicoloured stamp prepared for release in 1962 but withdrawn before public issue because of the design showing local native police carrying rifles in the Highlands. It was thought that this may cause a backlash considering past conflicts. This block comes from the from the first Melbourne experimental printing confirmed by the location of the sheet number at bottom right. Fine MUH. Retail is $7500+
