1926-30 Small Multiple Watermark Perf. 13½x12½ ½d orange & 4½d dull violet used in combination on 1931 (7th Feb) OHMS Office of Titles, Perth WA hand addressed cover to Merridin, WA. Both perfined "OS" & tied by single Registered Perth cds. Blue R6 registration label with "unclaimed left district" in red m/s. Incls 2 enclosures, the first a typed letter & second a printed "Transfer of Land Act 1893" (sections 121 & 122). The 4½d violet with mixed franking (ACSC 120Bba) has a cat. val of $1000 plus the perforations at the bottom of the stamp measure 3mm below the design being the misplaced perforations (ACSC 120b, Cat. $800). The photograph of this variety in ACSC also has a Registered Perth reg cds similar to this example thus could be from the same sheet!
