1918 Australian Comforts Fund Greetings card with "Capture of Hamel Village July 4th 1918" painting on front with "I joined the battle here at Hamel" in indelible ink m/s below picture. The inner part of card shows "Australians Advancing for Villers-Bretonneux August 8th 1918" with facing page & rear of card containing information about Australians in relevant battles. Minor creasing, but an interesting piece of war history.
