Germany 1891 10pf UPU pre-stamped postcard addressed to Wieshaden but tied by oval Deutsche-Amerikanische "DEUTSCH AMERIKAANISCHE SEEPOST BREMEN-NEW YORK 7/19 91" oval cancel with neighbouring suburb "Southampton OC 28 91 Ship Letter" cds. Apart from vert fold, fine in all respects. Message on reverse indicates writer was on board the "Elbe".
