Philippines - Jap Occ 1942-1944 covers with special cachets noting 1942 (8th Dec) "First Anniversary of the Greater East Asia War" with cachet in violet showing SE Asia & flag of Japan, 1943 (April) 2¢ (foxed) & 5¢ addressed locally with boxed bilingual "Passed by Censor Japanese Military Police" in violet, Manila Philippines-Jap Occ 1944 (17th Feb) "In Memory of Filipino Heroes & Martyrs" sheets (4) with 3 (Mabini, Burgos & Rizal) having separate sheets each with single, pair & block of 4, the 4th sheet similarly cancelled on set of 3, 1943 "Republic" set of 3 & 6 US Admin values with "Commonwealth" obliterated & ovptd in Japanese character. Also 3 addressed Postcards, 2 with 2¢ imprint & "Passed..." boxed h/s, (both 1943) & 1944 card with 5¢, 7¢ & 20¢ commems in imperf pairs. Also 12¢, 20¢ & 21¢ "Baha 1943" Charity ovpts in half sheets of 50 with tissue interleaving on Hagners (fragile!). A most interesting group especially as also containing a Chinese Imperial Post "Express letter" label rouletted green on yellow strip of 4 numbered "984".
